How It Works:

Open the Partner Finder Spreadsheet

• Add your details to the form for each division you need to find a partner for  

• Check the Partner Finder spreadsheet regularly for players to partner with:

• Contact potential partners directly though the OpenSports app

• Respond to requests within 12–24 hours, even if declining

• Update your Status to "Partner Found" in the spreadsheet once you're matched

Gold medallist teams receive prizes valued at $150 per player

Note: 

• Players may play up in a higher division with a higher-rated partner

• Social players without a DUPR account can easily create one for free here to play in a DUPR division

• Division playing times will be confirmed based on final registrations

Event Timing:

We anticipate that each division will take 2.5 - 3.5 hours to play (start to finish).

FAQ’s:

Why are we running the tournament primarily as a DUPR division event?

With limited time before Christmas and only 6 available courts, DUPR divisions allow us to run an efficient tournament in the shortest possible timeframe.

I don’t have a DUPR but want to play. What should I do?

3. When registration opens, register based on your current grade or you can play up a division / grade:

   
   

• Standard & Intermediate: DUPR 2.5-2.99

• Challenger: DUPR 3.0-3.49

• Advanced: DUPR 3.50+

Do I have to play in NBP DUPR Rated Leagues before I can register for this tournament?

No. All you need is your free DUPR account (if you're playing the DUPR divisions) set up before the start of the tournament. All DUPR division match scores will be sent to DUPR and players' ratings will be updated accordingly.

I’m a NBP member but my doubles partner isn’t. Will my doubles partner be able to play?

This event is for NBP members only. We will be running events next year where external players can play. 

Are we using Pickleball.com for this tournament?

No! We're testing a new, much simpler platform to better support our Club Championship needs. We'll bring you more instructions on using the new platform soon.
